I’ve grown up around racing cars and from an early age was hooked on the sport. I came through the ranks in karting, moved on to single-seaters and then found my niche in sportscar racing. I’ve been able to travel the world, meet some fascinating people and experience diverse cultures through my job as well as fulfilling my ambition of racing for a living.

My life is not all smoking tyres and revving engines, although I have to admit that the majority of the time I’m either at a race track, on my way or returning from one! I’ll often be trackside watching young protégés testing and enjoying sharing my experience with up-and-coming racing talent.

Fitness is always part of my lifestyle, and I try to vary my training with running, playing squash and tennis, cycling, as well as regular gym sessions. Home for me now is St. Helens, near Liverpool and in the spare time which I grab whenever possible, I try to catch up with family and friends.
